GHH Radsatz
Driven by the pulse of modern life
It is a motion that shapes our everyday lives: the rotation of the wheel.
Trams, trains and people stand as symbols for what has driven the company for more than two hundred years – progress, reliability and community.
The film weaves together everyday scenes from public transport with insights into manufacturing, development and collaboration at the Oberhausen plant. It shows how cross-generational expertise, precise craftsmanship and modern engineering come together to create wheelsets that are used around the world.
Beyond technological excellence, the film places people at its center: employees working side by side, taking responsibility and fostering a safe, family-like working environment. Sustainability, innovation and investment in people and machinery are not presented as buzzwords, but as lived elements of the company culture.
“Driven by the pulse of modern life” is a film about both origins and the future – about a hidden champion from Germany’s Ruhr region that helps set the pace of rail technology and keeps people moving around the world with every single rotation.

SCHÜCO
Fabricator Fagval and Schüco in Iceland
Efficiency and precision for Iceland – Fagval relies exclusively on Schüco systems, machinery and software.
Iceland is considered one of Europe’s most fascinating, yet most challenging regions for construction. Harsh weather conditions, strong winds, salty sea air and long, dark winters place exceptionally high demands on buildings and materials.
The Icelandic metal construction company Fagval therefore relies on Schüco and has completely renewed its machinery park with Schüco products. Among other investments, Fagval chose the Schüco AF 510 five-axis machining center. Digital connectivity across the entire production process is ensured through solutions such as SchüCal and the Fabrication Data Center (FDC).
GIRA
Solar park Radevormwald
Warm sunlight falls on shimmering solar panels. A place where sustainability becomes visible and the future takes tangible shape.
The documentary follows key project stakeholders from Gira, leading from the solar park to the energy control center and on to production at the Röntgenstraße campus. In personal statements, representatives from sustainability management, facility management and the executive board explain how the self-generated electricity is used, the scale of the solar park, and the role the project plays in achieving both the company’s climate goals and those of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.
Beyond figures, data and facts, the film places the people behind the project at its center: their motivation, the story behind the creation of the solar park, and their outlook for the future. The ceremonial inauguration of the facility marks an important milestone – for Gira and for the economic region of North Rhine-Westphalia alike.
Combining documentary elements with a strong visual language, the film makes a complex energy topic clear and accessible. The Gira solar park is presented not merely as a technical installation, but as a visible symbol of corporate responsibility, economic strength and sustainability in action.
