The film “112 Calls 221” from WAGO’s 221 Connection Heroes series features the professional fire brigade of Kiel Fire Department and shows how the WAGO 221 connector is used in their emergency vehicles.

The master electrician explains that, thanks to its speed, compact design and ease of use, the connector is ideally suited for applications in confined spaces. It enables quick and reliable connections for charging devices and vehicle lighting—an essential factor in emergency situations.

By allowing for fast and straightforward handling, the WAGO 221 helps firefighters work more efficiently and ultimately save lives.

At 1,846 meters in the Alps

This film from WAGO’s 221 Connection Heroes series documents the challenging construction of a modern mountain refuge in the Alps. Using transport helicopters and the dedication of a young, highly motivated team, the hut was developed and equipped with a sustainable energy supply—including a water turbine and solar installations. In addition, fiber-optic and power lines were laid all the way down into the valley.

The film highlights the project’s unique challenges and its innovative approach, combining traditional construction methods with modern technology to create an environmentally friendly and efficient solution.

The film Architects Connect 2024, produced for dormakaba, explores the central role of sustainability in architecture. For the film CC800, produced for SCHÜCO, the goal was to stage a true revolution in the manufacturing process. At the center is the new machine that automates the production of window elements.

The film demonstrates how the CC800 increases efficiency within seconds through precise corner punching, while at the same time simplifying workflows and ensuring consistently high quality. It highlights how SCHÜCO is responding to demographic change with state-of-the-art technology and actively shaping a future-ready metal construction industry.

300-year anniversary campaign

For the film History, celebrating Aschendorff’s 300-year anniversary, we wanted to tell more than just a chronological account. We set out to stage the publisher’s remarkable journey—shaped by courage, resilience and continuous reinvention.

From the turbulent years of the Third Reich to the digital revolution, each era brought its own challenges, yet Aschendorff remained steadfast throughout. Our goal was to bring this story to life: rooted in pride for the past and driven by a clear vision for the future.

100% renewable energy and heat through geothermal power in a new residential district for everyone

In this project, the regional energy provider supplies every future home with a geothermal borehole, including a probe for connecting a geothermal heat pump. A specialized geothermal probe from Jansen AG is used for this purpose.

Heat and energy are supplied by Unterfränkische Überlandzentrale eG, enabling a fully renewable energy and heating solution for the entire new-build area.

Designed by MVRDV, the Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen in Rotterdam is an architectural landmark and a global reference for sustainable design.

As the world’s first publicly accessible art depot, the building combines radical transparency with advanced sustainability concepts. Its iconic mirrored façade minimizes visual impact on the surrounding park, while energy-efficient systems, smart material choices and a rooftop forest contribute to an outstanding ecological footprint.

The Depot building demonstrates how visionary architecture, innovative technology and sustainability can merge into a future-proof cultural building that sets new international standards.
