City of Oldenburg

Agency For Saving The World

Why is it so difficult to inspire people to embrace a climate-neutral future? Bea Wendel, head of the Agency for Saving the World, asks herself exactly this question. Together with Lasse and Ruth, she decides not to bury her head in the sand, but instead to win over all citizens to a great and future-ready Oldenburg. Along the way, they encounter peculiar theatre puppets, design the city of the future and walk the fine line of civil disobedience.

Well-known locations such as the Theater Laboratorium, the Kulturzentrum PFL and the Casablanca serve as settings. Supporting roles and extras were largely cast with local residents from Oldenburg.

The lead role of Bea Wendel is played by actress and presenter Wilma Werner. Her fellow campaigner Ruth Sommer is portrayed by Berlin-based actress Marleen Jakob. Benedikt Zielinski makes his screen debut in the role of Lasse Neumann.

City of Oldenburg

Pinguin Spots

In today’s fast-paced world, it is a challenge to capture attention and interest—and to keep them. This is especially true in climate action. To inspire and wake up people who have so far been little involved in climate protection or know little about it, special formats are needed, such as the City of Oldenburg’s climate spots. They entertain and explain at the same time, with humor and sensitivity. In total, eight short films were created as part of the campaign, some of which were also shown in local cinemas.

Energy-efficient renovation – heat recovery ventilation

Energy-efficient renovation is about more than new windows, insulation or a modern heating system.

Set in an everyday scenario, the film highlights the crucial role of controlled ventilation for indoor climate, moisture management and living comfort – especially in buildings with airtight envelopes.

Using a likeable protagonist, the film clearly explains the relationship between air exchange, humidity and energy loss. An animated sequence visualizes how a heat recovery ventilation system works: stale air is extracted, the heat it contains is retained within the system, and fresh, filtered air is preheated before being supplied back into the living space.

The film communicates the benefits of the solution in a clear and tangible way – from improved energy efficiency and better indoor air quality to a reduced risk of moisture-related damage. Particular emphasis is placed on the fact that the system can be easily retrofitted, making it ideal for the energy-efficient renovation of existing buildings.

SCHÜCO Digital

Subscription Billing

Simple, direct and fully digital. That’s how Schüco rethinks its new ordering processes for software solutions.

The film contrasts the former, time-consuming processes involving order forms, phone calls and dongles with the new solution: Schüco Connect. Via the central platform, digital products such as SchüCal, SchüCad Next or the Fabrication Data Center can be ordered and managed instantly online – without detours, bureaucracy or paperwork.

Using a modern, rhythmic visual language, the film combines real-life insights from planning and fabrication with high-quality screencasts of the platform. It clearly demonstrates how a single central account, defined responsibilities and full transparency simplify everyday work and make processes more efficient.

The film positions Schüco not just as a software provider, but as a driving force behind a seamless digital construction process – from planning through to fabrication.

EasyConcept

Master baker Müller wonders why occupational pension schemes are often expensive, complex and offer little real value – and discovers an alternative.

The spot clearly illustrates how companies can build an occupational pension scheme by reducing non-wage labor costs and leveraging tax advantages, without incurring additional costs for either employees or the business. Instead of transferring capital to external insurance providers, liquidity remains within the company – effectively turning the company into its own bank.

The film shows how the Easy concept strengthens long-term employee retention, enables real pension benefits and at the same time creates entrepreneurial freedom: investments, reserves or future projects can be realized with flexibility. Digital tools such as a clear employer dashboard and an app for employees ensure transparency, control and trust.

An explainer film that makes complex financial topics easy to understand and demonstrates how occupational pension schemes can be reimagined for small and medium-sized businesses.
