This film from WAGO’s 221 Connection Heroes series documents the challenging construction of a modern mountain refuge in the Alps. Using transport helicopters and the dedication of a young, highly motivated team, the hut was developed and equipped with a sustainable energy supply—including a water turbine and solar installations. In addition, fiber-optic and power lines were laid all the way down into the valley.

The film highlights the project’s unique challenges and its innovative approach, combining traditional construction methods with modern technology to create an environmentally friendly and efficient solution.
